Ransford Oppong is a co-founder of Next Generation of Tech Giants and the principal technical and strategic force behind the ecosystem. He completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering at KNUST between 2022 and 2025, and was recognised by the Department of Computer Engineering as its Best Student Entrepreneur.
His work spans AI and emerging-technology research, including a research internship with the Quantum Computing and Assistive Technologies Lab and collaboration with the Responsible AI Lab. He was part of a team that won an $8,000 Africa Health Collaborative grant for SomaX, a smartphone-oriented ultrasound AI system for thyroid nodule detection and segmentation.
Beyond nGOT, Ransford has built open-source projects including Strata, pymusic-downloader, and paper2repo, created the collaborative sprint platform all9t.xyz, worked on Mentismint, and has been deeply involved with BUILD SCITECH.
