Quantising SLMs for Edge Autonomy

Emmanuel Ziggah

Emmanuel turned curiosity into a shipped project through nGOT Giants' Development Sprint.

Like every Giant, Emmanuel came in ready to build and left with a portfolio to show for it. Working within the Edge AI & TinyML track, Emmanuel moved from first principles to a working system — guided by the community's research → present → build culture.

Quantising SLMs for Edge Autonomy

"Quantising SLMs for Edge Autonomy" became Emmanuel's defining project during the Development Sprint. It demanded the same rigor nGOT expects of every Giant: define the problem, build a working version, measure it honestly, and iterate until it holds up.

"nGOT gave me the room to work on something real, and a community that pushed me past 'good enough.'" — Emmanuel Ziggah

Emmanuel continues to build within the nGOT Giants community, contributing to the Edge AI & TinyML track and mentoring newer Giants coming up through the Development Sprint.
